I recently purchased a peg loom and have been having fun creating some rugs.  I’ve experimented with roving (strip of aligned fibers) and ways of putting a twist in the fiber by hand as I weave the fiber on the peg loom.  This is the first rug created and my family has enjoyed the cushy rug in front of our wood stove this winter.  I have another longer rug on the loom now and then plan to experiment with some handspun rug yarn I’ve been spinning this past week.   I plan to dye more fiber once it starts to warm up here and then really have fun creating some colorful rugs and sit pads.  I’ll post pictures as I complete projects….
